About the Role
We are looking for a result-driven Civil Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in EPC execution of Substation (AIS/GIS) and Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) projects. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for civil works execution, contractor management, cost control, and coordination with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver projects within schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead execution of civil works for EHV substations (AIS/GIS) and OHL projects under EPC contracts.
· Manage complete lifecycle: site mobilization → execution → testing → handover.
· Ensure alignment with EPC schedule, deliverables, and client milestones.
· Manage multiple subcontractors for civil works, including:
· Equipment foundations (Transformer, GIS/AIS structures)
· Control room buildings
· Switchyard structures, gantries
· Tower foundations (pile/open foundations)
· Roads, drainage, fencing
· Monitor contractor productivity, quality, and compliance.
· Approve work methodologies, resource deployment, and progress.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
· 7–10 years of experience in EPC execution of Substation (AIS/GIS) and Overhead Transmission Line (OHL) projects.
· Strong experience in civil works execution and contractor management.
· Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
· Experience with cost control and project scheduling.
· Strong knowledge of construction quality standards and compliance.
· Excellent coordination and communication skills.
