SDV Consulting Engineers is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time, on-site role within our Engineering Consultancy, supporting major industrial projects in manufacturing, processing, energy, hydrogen plants, cold stores, and specialty facilities.
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and managing project plans, monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to schedules, and implementing robust project controls. You will play a critical role in aligning project goals with timelines, resources, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
· Monitor contractor and subcontractor progress; prepare weekly and monthly progress reports with graphs and critical path analysis.
· Identify delays, deviations, and risks; recommend corrective actions to clients and management.
· Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate schedule compliance.
· Support delay analysis, claims assessment, and evaluation of variations.
· Collaborate with project teams, clients, and contractors to ensure timely communication and effective coordination.
· Maintain accurate records of schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for project audits and closeout.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
· Well versed in Primavera P6.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills.
· Experience with mega projects is highly preferred.
· Experience working in an Engineering Consultancy environment.
· Candidate currently in UAE is mandatory.
· UAE driving license is a must
