ALEC Technologies, a premier provider of integrated technology solutions and part of the renowned ALEC Engineering and Contracting L.L.C., is seeking expressions of interest for a Contract Quantity Surveyor. This on-site, full-time opportunity is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and focuses on the commercial and contractual management of cutting-edge Electrical and MEP projects.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in administering subcontractor agreements, defending contractual claims (including variations and EOTs), and certifying payment applications. You will be responsible for compiling precise cost/value reconciliations, ensuring strict compliance with FIDIC conditions, and identifying contractual risks. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and project stakeholders, you will help deliver iconic, world-class systems while protecting the company's commercial interests through to project close-out.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline.
· Experience: Minimum 5+ years in MEP Quantity Surveying, including at least 2+ years specifically in contract administration.
· Technical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of BMS systems, FIDIC construction contracts, and claims preparation.
· Commercial Acumen: Proven track record in managing subcontractor accounts and generating detailed commercial reports.
· Software Proficiency: Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and contract management tools. Experience with BIM 360, Navisworks, and Power BI dashboards is highly preferred.
· Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication abilities, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to commercial problem-solving.
